Balbek Bureau will create the first 3D-printed school in Ukraine


The architectural bureau Balbek Bureau The first Ukrainian school to be printed using a 3D printer will be created. It will be an elementary School in Lviv.

The Team4UA Fund and the Lviv City Council supported the implementation of this project.

The original plan was to begin work in October, but it was delayed by the huge shelling of Ukrainian cities. Construction of the school is expected to begin in spring 2023.

Printing a single-story building takes approximately a month. For concrete work, the start of work is planned for the first warm spring day in 2023.

“99% of the materials that will be used in construction are of local origin,” Balbek Bureau notes.
